What is Nowata?

A small town in north eastern Oklahoma where old folks come to retire and fight over frivolous matters, including but not limited to:
1. Who has the rights to the water tower's roof for the television station,
2. Who is and isn't allowed to establish a business which leads to the growth and development of the town,
3. Who is and isn't in control of a section of approximately 3 feet of city "street".
If you're 25 and younger:
"Hey, let's get the hell out of here!"
If you're older than 25:
"Hey, let's buy a car that costs more than the trailer we're living in!"
If you make bad jokes:
"Nowata - they must not have a lot of water..."
