What is Oakland University?

A school that wishes it was bigger than it currently is. It has a really nice rec center and a decent D1 basketball team (for its league). The campus is dead after 5 p.m. on weekdays and the few that live on campus all go home on weekends. Overall, it's a pretty terrible college experience. The tuition is BARELY cheaper than University of Michigan, Michigan State, and other much better schools. It's a commuter school though, so you save money on housing! Yay!
I drive to Oakland University at 8. I eat crappy, overpriced Chartwell's food in the OC around 12 and struggle to find a seat. I go to a few more classes and go home. Dry, rinse, repeat.
