Offline Lurker

What is Offline Lurker?

1.

Someone who uses MSN Messenger but always has their status "appear offline" for fear of the people who will talk to them if they change their status to "online". The extent of their conversations reach about 3 or 4 people. These select few get annoyed because they never know if the Lurker is there or not. Messages often fail to deliver to the offline recipiant.

Blocking is better than offline lurking. The feature wasn't invented for nothing.
