What is One Year Queer?

Term used among gay and lesbian college students to summerize a fellow gay or lesbian student who has more interest in social activity (i.e. bars, partying, sex, and drug usage) than academic sucess. The term is comes from the length of time these students usually stay in school before becoming academicly suspended. This term was first used by Douglas Evans, in Huntington, WV, to discibe the problem of LGBT student retention.
Well, it looks like another semester of one year queers, some one get me a drink.
