One-shot

What is One-shot?


1.

Writing about a character, place or thing that has been done on a spur of the moment of a fandom or orginal peice. Usually is to short for a short story consisting of only one chapter.

'The writer did a one=shot of Mike's feelings toward his parents.'

2.

A graphic novel or OAV that has no sequils or following volumes.

"It's too bad this book was a one-shot. It had such a promising story line."

"Too bad the movie was a one-shot. It would have made a great series."
