simply the lardass whales name spelled backwards. however, the actual name of the large fish is officially spelled with a "u" versus two "o's", but it just looks and sounds better. otherwise the correct spelling is: shamu with an accent over the u. also, this can be used for someones name or nickname
Joe: "hey oomahs, how are you today"
OOMAHS: "Hey jackass, im doin pretty good myself, hows the family?"
Joe: "pretty good"
