n. A word describing punditry of any sort, but particularly political punditry, that one reads or watches because one has no actual opinion to speak of and finds pleasure in seeing others vigorously express their own opinion.
The O'Reilly Factor isn't news, it's just opinion porn for people who can't get any discourse on their own.
