Misuse of the proper term "hors d'oeuvres” by uneducated white trash who wish to aspire to a class above their own (but will never attain it). These fake, pretentious morons actually go through life thinking they are using the proper term when they are just advertising their High School Dropout status.

DumbJohn: "Did you read my email about my time at this high class party in South Africa where I had all these wonderful ordurbes? It's going to be a chapter in my book!"

SmartPerson: "Ordurbes??!! What are ordurbes? Did you just make up that word?"
