What is Original Gangster?

Somone who dosn't go around repping somthing that they arn't. And someone who dosn't go around bragging about the small things that they really do.
Someone who has actually seen a project before, and someone who has actually held a gun before that wasn't in a shooting range.
You don't have to be poor to be an original gangster, but most original gangsters form because they lived on the streets in the projects. But there's a difference. Most rappers came out of the projects, but the Mafia were high class business men who were rich. Both of them are real. You don't need to be poor or black. You just have to be real about what you do, tough, have common sense and be street smart.
Usually associated with rap music
Original gangster is usually reffering to the Mob, or the 80's or the early 90's of the days of people like Ice Cube and N.W.A. in Compton.
Real original gangster:
Look at that OG in the fancy suit over there driving that nice car, he looks innocent because he dosn't go around bragging, but hes really the leader of an organized crime gang, and is the most wanted man alive.

Fake gangsta:
person 1: "Hey lets take pictures of us wearing blue bandannas and holding airsoft guns so we can post them on are myspace!! and then we can go to the park and rob little 12 year olds of their lunch money"
person 2: Hide the bandannas my mom is home!
mom: son what are those bandannas for are you and your friends little gangstas?
person2: No mom I swear!
