Pilot slang. Being unable to take one's eyes off a target(enemy aircraft, escort package or some fine lady in a bar) for fear one will not be able to find it again.
Billy : ''Hey Johny, come and watch the game with us over here''

Gordon: ''Padlocked bogey, requesting protocol CHICANE''
