What is Palmatier?

The act of a vehicle-less individual imposing themselves on people in order to gain free transportation to seemingly inconvenient locations.

She tried to pull a "palmatier" so she could visit with a friend, smoke and watch Japanese soap operas. When I said "no", she told me to shut up.
