What is Pancake Tuesday?

A celebration where you eat lots of foods of the flattish, semi-squishy variety. Often accompanied by maple syrup.

Is synonymous with ' Fat Tuesday' or 'That Day Before Ash Wednesday'.

On Pancake Tuesday (That Day Before Ash Wednesday), I feasted on so many pancakes that people asked me when my baby was due. o_O
