Someone who is afraid to commit to the person he's dating, and becomes panicky whenever things start to get serious in the relationship. The panicked donkey is known for his very wide eyes, and stubborn refusal to move.
Jack: Jill invited me to have dinner with her parents. I completely froze. I was such a panicked donkey.
Jill: Come with me to dinner with my parents. It's really no big deal.
Jack: noise like a donkey's bray with a look of sheer terror on his face
Jill: Stop being such a panicked donkey!
