What is Paraletic?
1.
This 'word' is derived from a widespread mispronunciation of the word 'paralytic' and means extremely drunk.
Although widely used this word does not exist in the written form.
We all had too much to drink at John's wedding and got absolutely 'paraletic'

Being so off your face pissed that you can't walk, can't talk properly and in the case of my experience being utterly unable to control your own actions
I took my friend Kelly on holiday with me and my family to Antigua in the carribean. She had fancied my brother for about a year. One night I left her with our group of friends for an hour or two. When I got back she was so pissed she needed support to walk. I found her with her tounge down my brother's throat telling me that she wanted to suck his cock. She then proceded to try to pull me, two sistes, two brothers and my brother's best mate. When we finaly got back to our room she asked my dad to feel her up. The next day she could remember nothing of what she had done. That is Paraletic for you!!!

Typically this is a conscious stage beyond one being extremely drunk. In the strict meaning of the phrase, usually it is pre-determinded to get to the point where one (e.g. a young person downing a bottle of vodka, for example) determines that for kicks it seems very 'young' to get paraletic. For example (and having been there, who hasn't!), the term is frequently used and implemented by young adults who want to enjoy alcoholic experiences of the most extreme. Also, contradictory to the idea, it is very possible to recall having been paraletic. Memory loss can occurr but often the next day or resulting few hours of consciousness (whatever comes first), revealing behavioural flashbacks of this state are oh so much fun to recall! Especially if you did some damage...
I am mega-pissed (in nightclub), I am going home to down them beers, sit in the chair and get totally paraletic...
