What is Paramus?
1.
Paramus, an upper-middle class boro located in the heart of Bergen County, also known as the land of 10,000 malls... well actually just three: Garden State Plaza, Paramus Park, Bergen Mall and a ton of other retail centers that line the choked-up arteries of Routes 17 & 4. A place where gridlock is a way of life and the Holiday shopping rush takes on a whole new meaning. Paramus is also home to the most neurotic cops in all of Bergen County... where else can you get a ticket for making a left turn at 7PM at a no left turn street (from 5PM -7PM), or talking on your cellphone in the middle of Rt.17 when clearly a million other people are doing the same exact thing around you. It is obvious that this is a place where people are on the move...to the malls that is, with their platinum credit cards in hand. Where else in Jersey do New Yorkers come to shop but here? But eager shoppers beware, if you plan to max out your credit cards on a Sunday, the only sign you will see at a store entrance is "Sorry, we're closed."
Garden State Plaza (285 stores), Paramus Park (110), Bergen Mall (70)
2.
1. A town in Northern New Jersey consisting of 3 Malls, the Bergen Mall(spanish people and old people), Paramus Park Mall(white people), and Garden State Plaza(everyone). Paramus Police tend to be anal, similar to Fort Lee Police.
2. A place where you must be rich to live.
3. Not the ghetto.
4. A place where I represent the upper middle class.
Paramus, located between Maywood, Ridgewood, Rochelle Park, Oradell, and whatever, is a town of the developer.

Where shopping is a daily activity for most. Paramus has 2 of everything, sometimes even more. If there is a McDonald's on route 17, there's one on route 4 (that goes for every other place too). The shopping malls are Garden State Plaza, Paramus Park, The Fashion Center, & The Bergen Mall. It's the town where people come to shop because we don't have sales tax on clothing. It is also the town that is being taken over by traffic & asians. Wait, are we becoming Fort Wee?
Where do you live? Paramus. Ohhhh, I've shopped there before.
4.
the best town to live in bergen county. The people there are not quite like any other town. The drama is usually to much to handle. A quater of the town was handed over to Asians (mostly koreans) in the past 5 years. Good school system.. tons of shopping. Paramus park is where the middle schoolers hang out.. and GSP gets the high school + older crowd. No one from Paramus will be caught dead on the highways during rush hour, we navigate the back roads like pro's. The kids party more then most towns, soo growing up in Paramus is like no other. =)
paramus is the shit.

The largest shopping mecca in the state. The kids of paramus spend their nights at the local applebees and mall almost every weekend in the winter beccuase there is nothing else to do in this town. A richy rich town where you get an $50,000 car for your first car. Everyone says we party hard, yeahh... thats not true at all there are absolutley no parties in this town. You will probably find about half of paramus down at the Jersey shore over the summer. We think we're tough, but really we arent at all.
Paramus is filled with malls and its really boring here.

a town consisting of a wide variety of people. yes there is an upper class, but for the majority it is not wealthy. for ex. tony. but then again you have the kids whose parents buy them everything they want, for ex. kurt. its actually a shitty place. it takes you an hour to cross the damn town thats a quarter or bergen county. and rt 17, THE most congested highway/junction by GSP in probably the world. it also consist of mainly black and spanish ppl which is a bad thing
glen rock kid- yo wanna go to paramus and pick up some black crack whores?
