pctyd stands for post CTYdepression.

pctyd is a psychological disorder that occurs after a student has attended CTY and returns home.

the disorder is usually accompanied by strong nostalgic emotions.

the most common effects are depression, anxiety, nervousness, and loneliness. many children lose the ability to fall asleep at night.
