What is Peagloss?

Peagloss is a word which was made up on the programme Have I got News for You in an attempt to prove that if you use a made up word enough it will eventually make it into the English language.
Possible definitions include the stain on the underside of a Labrador caused by vitamin D deficiency, a part of medieval armour or an Algerian curry.
I was walking the dog and noticed it had a peagloss stain.
