Peeves is the Hogwartspoltergeist. Everyone hates him. He floats through the corridors reeking havoc. Argus Filch, the Hogwarts caretaker, has been trying to get him thrown out of the castle for a long time. He will only listen to The Bloody Baron, the Slytherin ghost.

Peeves was sining a song of his own composition:

"We did it! We bashed him! Wee Potter's the one! And Voldy's gone moldy so now let's have fun!"
