A subtype of classroom attention whore(usually female) who drops personal items in the hope that her teacher (usually male) will pick them up for her, thus proving he knows she exists. This is a variation on the shlemiel/shlemazel game: the student is the shlemiel, and the teacher the shlemazel.

Young lady, that is the third time you have dropped something this bell. Is the force of gravity singling you out for unfair treatment today, or have you become another pencil dropper?
