What is Pendevolution?

The time frame of the pendulum like swing, of two or more species, in regards to one species ability to impact the life of another species.
Where the two species are birds and a flu virus. A virus may mutate so as to infect the birds until the birds develop an immunity or the virus changes. This process takes time to occur and the pendevolution is this time frame.
