What is Peperami?

Salami Sausage Meat Snack, popular in the United Kingdom and hailed often as a cult classic (especially in the North). It is targeted mainly at the male market, with the snack being very carnivarous, or even canabalistic in it's eating.
Origionally shipped the the UK by mistake from it's native Germany, Peperami was branded and sold to a ravenous response, now selling enough per year to stretch from Plymouth to Aberdeen.
It is long and thin, and come wrapped in a foil pack (usually green) and then a clear wrapper inside. This wrapper is pushed down to get to the sausage within, and is often chewed after eating the peperami, as it takes on the flavour of the snack. This, although a slightly strange habit, is quite common, especially among the Peperami hardcore fans.
(Note: I've eaten Peperami's for 17 years, and thanks to my Dad have inherited the above habit...it's slightly slobbish..h!)
