What is Peugeot 306?

A mid sized family hatchback introduced to the UK in 1993 and ended in 2002 with 3 door hatchback, 5 door hatchback, 5 door estate, 4 door sedan and 2 door cabriolet versions available, the engine range varied from 1.4 to 2.0, this included the 1.9 and 2.0 diesel engines. A petrol 1.1 was available but only to the French market. The hatchbacks of these cars tend to be owned by the younger generation with the sedan and estate more common with older generations, the cabriolet still fetches a premium and is popular with all ages. It was a popular car and was replaced by the utterly crap 307.
