What is Phazon?

A V-Index mutagen originally found on the planet of Tallon IV. Phazon is a highly mutagenic substance with lifelike qualities. Phazon will kill anything that it touches, and mutate horribly that which it cannot kill. Metroid Prime was the source of the Phazon on Tallon IV.
Units are informed to report symptoms of Phazon Madness to their superiors immediatly.
