What is Phoenixan?

A character that appears in several Rayman-realated and non Rayman-releated fan games built for use as freeware. He also appears in several stories and artwork across deviantArt and the UbiSoft forums. He is generally known as a pyromaniac with multiple other mental disorders.
In a current game in devlopment titled Fire Under Siege, he has a robotic left hand, as he lost his real one in a fight. He makes use of his synthetic hand to use other weapons available to him.
There's a shed on fire, so I take it Phoenixan's passed by on this street.
