What is Pine City?

Pine City, Minnesota (pop. 3500) is the primary city between the Twin Cities (Mpls-St.P) and the Twin Ports (Duluth-Sup), on I-35.

The small town has recieved national media attention for its annual gay pride, one of just two in the U.S. not held in a metro area.

Pine City swells when it recieves its share of the many metro tourists heading 'up north' for the weekend.
