THE WORD PIQUET IS MORE COMMONLY USED BY 2ND GENERATION PORTUGUESE TO DESCRIBE THEIR ANCESTORS AND IS SOMETIMES ABBREVIATED TO PK.

MY GRANDPARENTS WERE PIQUETS FROM MADEIRA.
