What is Planny?

Adj. Used to describe someone who has to have everything they do planned and mapped out. Without a plan, this person feels lost and out of control. This does not mean this person stays at home and does nothing, but they are extremely uncomfortable “flying by the seat of their pants”. This person needs to have their activities for the following weekend known by Tuesday afternoon, or they start to get very nervous. Only likes spontaneity under controlled circumstances.
Her planny tendencies forced her to kick him to the curb; he was way too spontaneous asking her out for Saturday on a Thursday. What would she wear? How much time would she need to set aside to get ready? What type of food would they be eating so that she didn't eat the same thing in a 24-hour period. It was all too much for her to take, despite his PhD in chemistry, his competition-quality surfing skills, and his GQ looks.
