Refers to the "shared music" feature available on iTunes in which one can browse the various music libraries of the co-workers or classmates in the network. Often requires awkward explanation of why you have "that song."

Discrimination based on the music on someone's computer playlist. Of course, if someone's taste is bad enough to include Daniel O'Donnell on their computer, they probably deserve it.

Playitism is most definently a form of discrimination; not against those who have bad taste in music, but against those who are ignorant of what music is... their computers are filled with things that music is not.
It's easy to spot those of a playlistism idealology if their computer contains MP3 files including terms such as "Hip Hop", "Rap", "Diddy", or "Pre-Adolescents with Guitars". These fools obviously have not discovered rock and roll.
