What is Plotched?

Drunk, but a specific inebriation where the person is slow to respond; has a slight grin & happy countenance about them; and usually the person is surprised by the speed/level of their own drunkenness.
More drunk than "tipsy", but less drunk than "wasted".
"The sales girls in town for the weekend were plotched} on White Zinfandel before our sailboat had even exited the marina."
