the word pone (p0n3) comes from the latin "ponere- to put, to place" usually the term is used in gaming because the users are typically nerdy in highschool studing latin. the term means to put in ones place, that being on the lowest score standings, in a very talented or in the case of the victim a shameful manner. now the term has been carried onto more aspects of life and converstion.
