What is Poe-off?

A poe-off is derived from "Poor Off" where two individuals come together and share as many stories as possible of who grew up the poorest.
Brian & Mike were having a poe-off;
Brian: All we had for entertainment was a Rooster on the fence post.
Mike: We had no inside shower, we had to use a garden hose that ran from the kitchen sink out the trailer window.
