Poker-god

What is Poker-god?

1.

A fickle and mysterious social construct. Often described as having a sadistic sense of humor and a vengeful nature. It governs the card flips within a poker game, especially the final card: the river. It transcends all odds and will often choose a champion to which it will bestow winning cards.

Poker-god always presides over any poker game "Its prescence" often mainfests itself in amusing folds or unlikely wins. A fold on the worst hand possible in Texas Hold'em: 7,2 preceeding a flop of 7,7,2 would be a very good example. One might say: "Haha, Poker-god is having a laugh at you..." Another good example would be if someone was playing in an unsportsmanlike manner and they lost a huge hand. That could be said to be an enaction of Poker-god's will.
