A very tasty Polish sausage, often sold by street vendors & served on a bun like a frankfurter (hot dog), but bigger & better tasting. Often served with condiments like saurkraut, chopped onions, and mustard. Goes great with a cold beer. Also served as miniature polish sausages called "Lil' Polskas". These are about 2 inches long and are often cooked in a skillet & served with eggs for breakfast.

I went to the Sobrett's hot dog stand to get a polska with kraut & onions for lunch, and I washed it down with a cold Taddy Porter. :D
