What is Postpurgatory?

The state of a forum thread as it lingers around in limbo before being sent to post hell for breaking a forum rule or etiquette. Usually resulting from an intense flame war.

That thread is currently in postpurgatory as I'm sure a moderator will sent it to post hell shortly.
