Johnny depp plays jack sparrow who is a pirate, orlando bloom plays will turner who used to be a blacksmith but turned into a pirate during the 1st movie, and keira knightley plays elizabeth swan who is also a pirate and is married to will turner which happened during the big fight scene in the 3rd movie.
