The act of doing things that could get you pregnant... as in sex without proper contraception. or in some cases, depending on the context, just sex.
Mary: "i feel sick, like dizzy and throwing up"
Joseph: "why? have you been doing pregnant things?"
Mary: "i don't think i'm pregnant"
