Fabrication of fact used to support an argument, i.e. Photochops that attempt to mislead the reader. Sometimes the falsification is intentionally obvious, done for humorous effect.

Etymology: Derived from misspelling of word "proof" commonly found on Internet message boards, in the context of political or other arguments.
