a trend, a state of mind when people want to be origonal. They are different from everybody else without becoming antisocial.
origonal and artistic minded, but not trying to bring a label upon themselves or other people.
On the first day of high school, Henry hung out with the preps. The second day, he hung out with the emos. Then on the third day he got tired of trying to fit in and decided to become protostatic. That way he could be friends with anyone he wished and still be secure inside.
