What is Pull A Russian?
1.
To oversleep an exam.
Most used when one oversleeps an AP exam.
Dates back to Thursday, May 7, 2009, when a student at East Meadow High School, who will be known only as "Russian", overslept the AP English Literature and Composition exam.
Origin of the Term
Kid 1: Hey how was the AP Lit exam?
Kid 2: It was so easy! There wasn't even a poem, and the essays were incredibly easy! Probably, the easiest in years! It's a shame about Russian though.
Kid 1: What'd Russian do?
Kid 2: He overslept and wasn't allowed into the exam room. No doubt that the make up exam will be much more difficult.
Thus, the term to "Pull A Russian" was born.
