Or 'RAMI' for short is a phrase most commonly used in urban bar settings around Washington DC. First coined at a local event named Transit it quickly took off and became a normal vocabulary word for bar patrons in the area. Most Commonly used to describe the amount of alcohol one has consumed the word has branched out and become an actual drink.

Also known as a R.A.M.I. shot its ordered by name at local establishments around Washington DC. There is no set recipe. Once ordered the bartender on staff is allowed to mix any three liquors into one shooter. The Original R.A.M.I. shot consisted of Jim Beam, Jose Cuervo and 151. Bartenders may change the recipe at will to suit their specific customer.
