In Wiltshire, UK "reach" is used as an alternative to "bothered". This usage basically evolved from the idea that when you're having a few spliffs you generally can't be bothered to get something (remote control, magazine, cigarettes, playstation controller, etc) - if you can't reach it from your chair.
This usually doesn't apply to food - great distances will be covered to obtain sustenance of a sugary variety.
Person A: Are you going to uni today dude?
Person B: No way man, I can't reach.
