A person who intentionally watches TV shows (and commercials) without the use of a DVR, usually for the purpose of self-aggrandizement by spoiling the plot for everyone else.

Realtimer: Dude, did you see the new Lost last night?

Normal: No, I DVR'd it and plan to check it out this weekend.
