A retired person who watches TV all day, rarely leaves the house and does not contribute to society anymore under the guise of "retirement."
Basically, "retirement" is their excuse to do nothing and give up on life.
My dad, the rebum, has done absolutely nothing but watch TV all day since his retirement.
