What is Red Bud?

Contrary to popular belief this is not a type of drug. It is a small city located in southern Illinois, approximately 45 minutes south of St. Louis, Missouri.
It is a rural community with an extensive background in agriculture and hunting. Most of the inhabitants are of Germanic or French descent.
Despite having a few thriving businesses that compete in the global market, Red Bud really isn't known for anything other than drunken high schoolers who party every weekend. Thus it's oh so popular nickname with the younger crowd, "Dead Bud." It is also often shorten simply to "The Bud."
While in college I met this redneck from Red Bud.
You meet those chicks at the party last night, they be Red Bud girls.
