A town in upstate New York, thats basically all white hicks, with very few exeptions. People in Red Hook think they are not hicks, but the truth is they are racist red necks. Red Hook is known for good schools although they recently got millions of dollars for education, and they are speding it all on sports supplys that they NEVER use. If you dont like sports in Red Hook, you are an outsider. Red Hook is all about sports. There is 2 gastations downtown and a stoplight that last for hours, and the most interesting place to go is CVS. There is about 7 Christian churches in the same street in Red Hook. Most people are ignorant in Red Hook. People in Red Hook HATE being confused with the place in Brooklyn (wich is much more interesting than upstate Red Hook) Red Hook is a bad place to live, if you like to do stuff other than sports and going to church, I recommend not moving to Red Hook.

Red Hook is better known as Hick Hook, Red Neck, Red Hooker, And Red Neck Hood by the few educated people who live there.

A little town in semi-upstate ny with 4 stoplights, but with a lot of neighboring towns/cities for finding stuff to do. When you live there your whole life you can't wait to get out...but then once your gone, you miss it...a lot.

town in upstate new york. not hicks, but not as stuck up as the city folk. we are known for one major thing..BASKETBALL. we also have a good repuatation as being known on a national level for the grades the students get. we also have amazing anouncments known as RHBC. its amazing and they have great shorts.
