What is Re-dump?

An act by which one person, not for the first time, attempts to get rid of (dump) another person. Such an act is performed by one of two people who are in some kind of a relationship, be it a simple friendship or otherwise, to, yet again, try to rid herself/himself of the other person.
The running fanatic re-dumped his faithful, devoted, loving friend because he thought it would simplify his life, all the while knowing he would un-dump her (again) seven days hence.
