When you are so anxious and eager to get new correspondence that you are constantly refreshing every web browser window you have open.
Example of a refreshing routine:
*REFRESH* nope.... no new e-mail on hotmail.... *REFRESH* darn... no new Facebook notifications on gmail.... wait maybe they just haven't gotten there quite yet and I should go check Facebook right this second to see if anything's come in! *REFRESH* oh well.
