An offshoot of the adjective rerist, rer protector is the official job title of a large, generally male, friend designated to ward off those labeled "rerist" and/or creepy joes who may try to get all up on you on subways, in clubs, or on any sort of public outing or transport.
Corrine: "That guy is totally rerin' me with his eyes right now!"
