When someone does a favor for or attempts to 'rescue' you from a sticky situation and this attempt actually screws up your plan(s) and leaves you worse off than before
Guy 1: Dude, did you hear about Bill?
Guy 2: No, what happened?
Guy 1: I guess on Sunday he tried to off himself, but the paramedic rescrewed him and now he's gonna be stuck in a nut house for the next eight weeks.
