an adjective describing a friend who fails to attend or participate in an 'essential' social activity... such as eating drugs or showing up at the club.
causes may include, but are not limited to:
falling asleep, staying home with the boyfriend/girlfriend, deciding to sober up, doing work, or ,god forbid, watching TV.
"where's sarah? I thought she was gonna come out tonight"
"nope...she's being rest home again.
or
"it's time for more drugs! no is not an answer... don't be so fucking rest home!"
